It’s snowing on the 11th of October. All over school you hear the word. Snow. Like something infectious has just hit the air. For some, this is the last straw. An empty notebook lies on a table It's pages being blown in the wind Each one blank Idea pastes itself to tree branches, picnic tables, and little puppies' tails. Take a could and glue it to a page and little flecks of red will splatter. everywhere A single eye looking back at you through the lines. Blades of grass teeter and eventually fall. Warriors struck down again and again. Caves of white tree pulp swallow you whole, and all things tumble down a spiral of flimsy metal.

Ring around the rosie, pockets full of posy. Ashes, ashes We all fall down. So, here I am, at the Burning Place. It used to be fields of waving wheat. I try to imagine what it would be like, standing in a field with the wind in my hair instead of standing among the ashes of the bodies no longer needed. Ow. Eyeballs.

So, friends. I continually fail at being an artist lately. Well, maybe not completely true. I've made lots of fun paper cranes!! And I'm crocheting a scarf...if that counts. And I've started Christmas cards!!! Except they take longer than I thought they would. ^^; So, my goal, among many, for Christmas break is to make some art. Write something. I wrote a few sentences of a sort of story the other day. Maybe I'll have to finish that. And my scarf. And make more cards. And paper cranes. (Goodness, I have lots to do!) You should poke me during the break and tell me I need to be artsy. I think it'll help. And I need to post things on here. Yep

gasp Oh, no!! It's coming...

Well, here we go again. School is just around the corner. (And this year we don't have Liesa anymore. :cries:) It's going to be an adventure. Guess what. We actually get to do a play this year! How exciting is that? (Very, in my opinion.) I can't decide whether or not I want school to start. *shrug* Whether I want it to or not, it's going to come. So I guess I'll just have to deal with it. There isn't much new-ness with me, except I have books. Yay!! Books! And on Monday I get to go with Cousin and Taylor (and maybe others) to pick up the lovely Wolf-kin. I'm VERY excited for that. *bounces* (I get to see my twin again!!! *glee* :dance: ) H

Hello once again, my friends. I probably don't write these as often as I should, but *shrug* I don't do a lot of things I should. This includes making art/writing/posting anything on here, so I've decided to try something. I might fail, but that's ok. It's an attempt, which is more than usual. I'm going to make/write things for people if they'd like me to. That means I am calling out to all of you. If there's anything I can create for you, please tell me, and I will do my best to see that it gets done. Wolf-kin is also giving me assignments, so all of these things put together should keep me relatively busy in the arts portion of my life. H
